At Intertrade Company in the 10th of Ramadan, the third generation of leadership is embracing Lean manufacturing
to drive transformation. This Lean project is focused on achieving operational excellence and continuous improvement across every process.
By applying key Lean principles such as 5S for workplace organization, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) for equipment reliability, Quick Changeover for flexibility, Waste Analysis for cost reduction, Visual Management for transparency, and KPI tracking for performance, the company is embedding a culture of discipline and accountability on the shop floor.
The initiative goes beyond tools, it’s about reducing waste, improving flow, eliminating excess WIP, and empowering teams to identify problems and solve them. Through structured training and capability building, employees are being equipped to deliver more value to customers and ensure that improvement is sustained.
